Ask anyone who’s just turned 21 if they feel or think any differently since the day they turned 18 and chances are good that not much has changed. The legal ramifications of 18 are already enough of a burden without telling someone they can’t have a beer for another 3 years let alone see their favorite band in a bar? It’s not just wrong, it’s cruel and unusual punishment, not to mention the real gateway to alternative substance acquirement!
So you can imagine our delight when Surgeon Marta was approached to play an all ages venue in Mar Vista this Saturday “Hells Yeahs” followed by “Shit there won’t be any booze?” (Only kidding!!!)
Doors open @ 8 pm with Franchot Tone (backed up by members of Jack Johnson, the Beastie Boys and the Culver City Dub Collective) putting the pedal to the floor at 9 pm, Surgeon Marta @ 10pm and roots n' punk sensations The Bad Bad Things @11pm
See you there!

Lately we’ve been hearing some fantastical excuses (think Carrie Fisher w/ machine gun scene from “the Blues Brothers”) for why some of you guys can’t make it to our shows. We know you love the girls, the g’damn punk rock and our sexy new costumes but let’s face it the simple truth is………you’re BROKE!
And no wonder, the world economy is still serving lemons and the tools responsible are squeezing every single last drop outta them. Now we even have giant billboards up all over town predicting the end of the world on May 21st.
Well we say fuck these market manipulating war mongering dick holes. No matter what they do life will continue along with art, music and LOVE.
So this Sat. put your wallet back in your pocket, heat up some chocolate, kick off dem doggies and surf on over to www.ErrorFM.com @ 6pm (PST) for a medicinal shot of music, mirth and mayhem.
Streaming LIVE Around the Globe Sat. Feb. 26th - starting @ 6pm PDT on BuddhaMan's International Experience!

Our first show of 2011 is just around the corner!
We took time out at the end of last year for seasonal soakings, lunar realignments and the gestation of new Surgeon Marta melodies. So, while the new tunes are running around the nursery, we want you to come out and join us this Tuesday at Eleven Nightclub in West Hollywood.
As many of you know Surgeon Marta likes to deliver the rock n' roll with a certain theatrical flamboyance and it seems word has gotten around... This Tuesday the noise will be back in boy-town and a happy ending is guaranteed for all!
FREE Tues. - 2/22/11 - 10PM Eleven Nightclub 8811 Santa Monica Boulevard West Hollywood, CA 90069
There's something about parties especially birthday parties that always brings out the best in Surgeon Marta. Why only a few weeks ago we brought traffic to a complete standstill on Vermont Ave. Crowds were exiting a Greek Theater funk festival when we cranked up (on a front lawn) just down the road. Within minutes, like flies to the honey, hundreds had gathered to take the nite train from funky town to punky town.
The funniest part came right in the middle of Send More Cops when not one but two patrol cars managed to squeeze their way through with lights-a-flashing!!! Yes the party was over but the WTF expressions on the faces of the LAPD were priceless!
So can we promise you more mayhem this Sat? Well hells yeah!!! It's the Buddaman's Birthday Party!
Alan "Buddaman" Lohr was a pioneering DJ in the early days of KROQ with his metaphysical rock n' roll show "The 3rd Eye." Needless to say as KROQ started gagging on corporate cock the Buddaman jumped ship to what was then the new wild west... internet radio! Now with over 100,000 listeners Buddaman and ErrorFM are still keeping the man outta Rock n Roll.
Come celebrate with us this Saturday as we broadcast to the world LIVE from the The Aqua Lounge (you've seen it on HBO's Entourage) Surgeon Marta and cake cutting starts at 9:30pm SHARP with FREE ALL AGES admission up till 10pm so don't be late !!!
BuddhaMan's International Experience Special Birthday Edition
will also be streaming LIVE Around the World
Sat. Sept. 18th, 2010 starting @ 6pm PDT on on ErrorFM and on the AIR on 94.9FM in Hudson Valley, NY!

Now as some of you may have heard America is in the middle of a Creativity Crisis. The numbers are real and scary. Sure you only have to look around you to see the results.
That's why you should join us this Saturday to re-ignite the sacred fires of creativity and beat back the
corporate compliant gibberish that surrounds us all. Because over here at Surgeon Marta HQ we don’t
believe in crying in our hospital gowns. We say let the zombies dance, just don’t let them touch you - (unless they're trying to sell you official SM™ merch...)
Be there Saturday August 21st as we unite with fellow LA-based artists in presenting an audio/visual
Play Date to satisfy all your creative needs. Free food, Free drink, Free parking and Free All-Ages admittance to some loud nasty mad-dog zombie killing rock n roll! With a deal this good and a schedule
that leaves you free to tear up the rest of Saturday night, excuses for non-attendance will not be accepted unless accompanied by a $20 bill and a really creative story...
